Mugabe agrees to step down after dismissal as party leader

Zimbabwe’s President Robert Mugabe has agreed to stand down as head of state, reports Reuters quoting source.

ZBC has reported that Mugabe is due to address the nation on the national broadcaster after he was dismissed as leader of the ruling ZANU-PF party today. The party had given him until noon on Monday to quit or be impeached.
