ZSE main index slips for third day

HARARE, October 25 (The Source) – The Zimbabwe Stock Exchange eased for the third day in a row on Wednesday, dropping 0,11 percent to settle at 515,32 points while the mining index advanced 4,30 percent to 136,72 points.
Market capitalisation stood at $14,6 billion while market turnover amounted to $4,5 million.
Mobile operator, Econet eased 0,55 percent to settle at 179 cents while Delta dropped 0,04 percent to settle at 306 cents.



Innscor sheds 0,71 percent to settle at 173 cents while OK sheds 0,34 cents to settle at 20,05 cents.
ART eased 14,29 percent to settle at 6 cents while FML sheds 9,09 percent to trade at 20 cents.
Barclays, Meikles and StarAfrica eased 3,33 percent, 2,05 percent and 1,64 percent to settle at 8,7 cents, 44 cents and 2,4 cents respectively.
Among the top gainers in the day were Hippo Valley, CFI and SeedCo which gained 4,01 percent, 1,34 percent and 2,90 percent to settle at 175 cents, 70,94 cents and 310 cents in that order.
On the mining space, Bindura and RioZim gained 14,04 percent and 0,44 percent to trade at 5,36 cents and 114,5 cents respectively.
Hwange and FalGold remained unchanged at their previous trading prices.
Foreigners were net sellers in the day disposing shares worth $2,5 million compared to buys worth $2,1 million.
